Very nice, bonedust. I'm attempting the same thing myself, but I only got as far as completely dismantling the squiddy. What did you use to get the body of it open? I boiled it for about 5min., then used a flat-head eyeglass screwdriver. Thats about it so far [img]frown.gif[/img]
I have a couple of questions, first, what did you use for the lenses? I'm thinking of using clear silicone caulking, you think that will work? Also, are you going to try lighting the tentacles? The only way I see that happening is to paint the the lighted areas with uv-reaction paint.
the LED's im using basically have the lenses built in. clear silicon dries cloudy, im not sure it will work really. i havent really had any thoughts about trying ot light the tenticle...did they light in the movie?
